CSS Total Security - Hi-tech CCTV

To design, install and maintain a CCTV system with video recording of all persons entering and leaving the building. As this was a multi occupancy building, general views of the car park area were also required, together with access control externally and internally.

THE BRIEF
To design, install and maintain a CCTV system with video recording of all persons entering and leaving the building. As this was a multi occupancy building, general views of the car park area were also required, together with access control externally and internally.

THE SOLUTION
CSS designed a hi-tech solution using high-speed dome cameras, connecting them to a high-specification network video recorder. The dome cameras respond to external detection units, which direct and focus the domes to appropriate locations, and ensure that all traffic, and persons entering and leaving the building, are recorded. The access control system uses magnetic strip card technology, and the system is designed so that all tenants can enter through the main entrance, but can subsequently only gain authorised access to offices within the building, provided that they are within a permitted time profile.
