Secret anti-terror zones in Hampshire saw 1,487 people stopped under Section 44 in one year.

The UK was under blanket coverage up to May 2004 after which the police designated zones.

There are areas of the south coast which are of greater interest and sensitivity. Some of these areas we consider vulnerable to potential terrorist attack.
