CSS Total Security - Heron City Spain

CSS Select, the hi-tech security company based in Southampton UK, have achieved major success in providing a totally integrated and automated security system for Heron City, Valencia, Spain.

CSS consolidate European profile with Heron City Success.

Commissioned by Heron International, CSS have successfully integrated some 14 different security technologies into one manageable system for the entire Heron City site. The 'city' comprises one of the largest cinema complexes in Europe and has over 30 eating and drinking establishments. This premium leisure facility is expected to receive up to 30,000 members of the public daily, right into the early hours of the morning.

Teams from the consultant, survey, IT, engineering and training divisions of CSS Select were utilised to service the logistical complexity of this prestigious security contract, which required 60km of cabling alone. This teamwork produced a multiphase program for the following solutions.

Central control room facilities manned 24 hours a day.

Intercom systems covering all external access, service doors and 4 service parking areas including full integration with telephone and CCTV systems.

Computer dedicated access control systems including CAD imagery of the site denoting individual positions of all locks, barriers, PIR detectors, proximity readers and door contacts. The locks and barriers remain fully operable from the software and any alarm detection is flagged up on the system.

Integrated intruder alarm systems to cover administration offices and remote storage facilities.

CCTV systems designed to cover the entire site, including, internal and external cameras to public areas, car parks, service areas and all areas restricted to the public. All cameras are displayed across the network to dedicated PC's, digital server technology and simultaneous recording capabilities. The provision of an additional spot monitor output for the manual control of the 20 high speed dome cameras allows definitive response capabilities.

Remote configuration and system monitoring capabilities to ensure optimum security operation at all times.
